Product intelligence
The same question from an adviser and from a sales desk gets two different answers — by policy, not by judgement.
The facts are identical and come from one record. What differs is what the asker is entitled to see, what their jurisdiction permits, and which language has been cleared for their channel. That gate is applied before the answer is composed, so nothing has to be taken back afterwards.

“A client wants private credit income inside a SIPP. Can they hold the Global Diversified Credit ELTIF, and what actually happens to their money if they ask for it back in a bad quarter?”
distribution.answer6 SOURCES · ALL IN DATEcomposed in 4.1sYes, within limits. The fund is an ELTIF 2.0 and is available to UK retail investors through a discretionary adviser, which is your permission [1]. A SIPP wrapper is supported by the two platforms you hold client assets on [2]. Minimum initial subscription is £10,000 with no suitability carve-out for the SIPP itself — your own suitability rules still govern.
On redemption, be precise with the client: the fund deals quarterly, not on demand. Requests are met from the liquidity sleeve first [3]. If total requests in a quarter exceed the dealing capacity, every request in that quarter is scaled back by the same proportion and the unfilled part does not roll forward — it must be resubmitted [4]. That is the sentence advisers most often get wrong, so it is worth saying to the client in those words.
What I did not include, and why
- Underlying borrower namesposition-level detail is internal and institutional-client only
- Indicative forward yieldnot cleared for retail-facing use in the UK
- Secondary transfer pricingthe asker is not entitled to the secondary desk record
Where each sentence came from
A source that is out of date takes its sentence out of the answer, not the other way round.
